My brother Menu (that's how we, his brothers and sisters all know Carmel here in Malta) died in Ottowa Canada, far away from the Mediterranean island of Malta, where he was born and lived till his middle years. He was the eldest in our large family of eight brothers and three sisters. We the young ones look up to Menu more as a father figure than a brother. His sense of commitment, duty and faith will always be that same shining beacon it has always been for us his siblings, and for our respective families. His earthly remains may be resting in that far away cold country, but his memory here in Malta lives on and on and will go on being passed from one generation to another. Dear brother, till we meet again, look after us like you always did throughout your long and splendid life.
My deep sincere condolences go to Jessie, his sons and daughters, their respective families.
