Our deepest sympathy to Sam, Rosalba, Marinella and Matthew. Carmela was a beautiful person, a gracious and caring neighbour who fought so bravely. She gave out to others while enduring her own pain. Her smile and warm heart will be remembered.

SANTORO (Carmela):
Zia, each one of us has received gifts from you; your wisdom, embraces, smiles, encouragement and your different view of life or a problem. Your last gift was your quiet enduring strength. You never shut your love away, no matter how sick you were. Your pain is now spent, but your example lives on with us. We miss you already.

Santoro ( Carmela):
Melitta cara, tu eri per me, amore, felicita e richezza. Riposa in pace e a presto. Tuo Salvatore.
Melitta, my darling, for me you were love, happiness and wealth. Now that you are gone, the happiness and wealth are gone. What's left is the love that rests in my heart whilst I am alive. I saw you suffering during this time from the sickness that you had. I've cried and prayed to the good Lord night and day. I will continue to cry till it's time for me to be with you again. I love you and will continue to love you to the last beat of my heart. Rest in peace until we meet again.
Yours, Salvatore.
