Carmelo Germanò

GERMANÒ, Carmelo August 4, 1951 - May 4, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Carmelo Germanò. He passed away peacefully in his home on May 4, 2018 at the age of 66. It was without preparedness, and we are forever changed. Carmelo was predeceased by his parents Francesco and Annunziata (née Zito), and his sister Maria Giuseppa, all with whom he will be reunited. He is survived by his son Frank (Antonietta), and by his brothers Antonino (Angela) and Pino (Pina). He will be remembered by Maria (née Cotroneo), by his nieces and nephews, and by many zii. We will miss his sense of humour; how he always made us laugh with his "barzellette" (jokes), how he spoke passionately of his favourite soccer team (Evviva Milan!), and the smell of his smoked cigars.
