Well my beautiful friend, we didn't have as much time left together as you and I had hoped, and as much as I will miss you, and hate to see you go so soon, I know you are in a much better place, in no more pain, and able to do all of the things you love, and I find peace, strength, and comfort in knowing that. I learned so much about life from you, and I have so many wonderful memories of you and I will hold them close to my heart until we meet again. I know Tom is going to miss you terribly, but Stan and I will do whatever we can to help him get through this, As much as he will let us anyway, lol. Rest in peace. Love you always.

Carmen, I think today it finally hit me, I won't see your precious smile on earth. But oh by golly when I get to heaven, what fun we shall have. So, while we await that reunion I'll feed Tom on occasion so he doesn't get too skinny. The love you two share, is so inspiring. Tom is lost without you for now, but he will find his way. You were his heart and soul and you won't be "gotten over". We'll all learn to go on without you-somehow. See you soon my friend.

I worked with Carmen at Cox Cable and she was a ray of sunshine at the front desk. She greeted people with a great smile and was so helpful to others. A sweet Lady who took pride in her Boys and will be missed. My deepest condolences to her Family. Rest in Peace.

April 20, 2017

Mike and I would like to send our deepest condolences to Tom and all the family at the passing of Carmen. What a beautiful spirit she had and such a welcoming smile as she greeted people at the front desk of the old Cox Cable. Carmen was part of our Cox family and will be deeply missed. We hope she is celebrating beyond this world with her sister and parents and that time will heal the grief of your family. Attached is a picture from one of our cable reunions.
There will be a seat held in her honor at our next Cox gathering. RIP dear Carmen.

It was always a joy to see Carmen and Tom, my heart is saddened to see her go. As my dear friend Sharol has said to me; It's wonderful to all have each other and it's certainly a reminder to me to be loving and good as often as possible to my friends and fellow humans. I'm happy for her that she's out of pain and with God and I know we will all see each other one day in that wonderful place.
We all miss you and love you so much Carmen, as you always had comforting words and thought of others.
Love you,
Brenda and Scott

Carmen was one of a kind. Warm, friendly, selfless and radically non-judgmental. The world will be a colder place without her and heaven has gained a shining star. I worked with her in outreach to the homeless many times over the years. She was truly a joy to know.

Carmen was a wonderful person inside and out! I loved working with her and having her for a friend. She had a beautiful soul and shared it with so many people! Carmen was far more talented than she realized. She could write meaningful poems, restore old furniture, and be the best listener in the world. I love her and will always cherish the wonderful memories of working with her and being her friend! My condolences to Tom, Ryan, Stephen, Cody, Courtney and anybody else in the family I have missed. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
