Carmine Vito Minardi

Carmine Vito Minardi, known to many as "Ciro" died Monday, June 25, 2012, after a long illness at his home in Fairfield. He was 80 years old. Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Del Russo) Minardi. Loving father of Salvatore & his wife Joyce Minardi, Carmine A. Minardi, Paula & her husband Daniel Pacicco and the late Mari Goldberg. Cherished brother of Rosalie Senatore, Elizabeth Condito, Julia Squartino and the late Peter Minardi & Ellen Feldsher. Adored grandfather of Carla, Danielle, Alessandra, Christa & Christopher. Dear father-in-law of Jerry Goldberg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carmine was one of New Jersey's most highly regarded hairdressers and salon owner for nearly half a century. Born in Newark, NJ, September 19, 1931, he resided in Belleville, Toms River and Fairfield with his wife of 62 years, Pauline. His successful professional legacy influenced his two sons to carry on within the hair profession and his two daughters to pursue careers in fashion. He was a strong adventurous businessman as well as a generous and loving family man with a grand personality. He will be remembered and missed by all. Funeral Friday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum.
