Carmine J. Rappucci

Cheryl, I opened my email to find a reminder of Carmine's passing from Legacy.com. 2016... time goes by so quickly and yet I still began to cry when I saw Carmine's face. I hope you and the rest of the family are well. Please know I still love you all so very much and like to think of Carmine and Dad having a good laugh together. Take care. ~Lettie

RIP Carmine. Fond memories of high school.

I have known Carmine for well over fifty years. From all the way back in the beginning of the St. James days. And although I have not seen Carmine in the last five years or so, I have always considered him to be not just one of my oldest, but also one of my dearest friends. (growing up together does that to you) So again, my wife Susan, (who knew Carmen for almost as long as I did) and I, extend our sincerest and most heartfelt sympathies.

My heartfelt condolences to the Rappucci family. I worked with Cheryl as a consultant in Wilmington DE with Zeneca Ag back in 1999-2001. I met Carmine once at Cheryl and Carmine's home some years ago when I was driving from NJ to VA. I called Cheryl to say I was in DE and asked if could I stop by to say hello. I was invited to their Sunday evening dinner unexpectedly. Nice gentleman and beautiful wife. Sorry to hear of this news. Please take care and try to remember all of the pleasant memories to help you through this difficult time. God bless.

I have fond memories of Carmen from Ridley Township High School. It was a genuine pleasure to see him last fall at our 50th class reunion.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Carmine's entire family. In his catering days, he took care of a couple of family parties for us and definitely saved the day. He was kind and honest and definitely a fun person to be around. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate life without him and adjust to the grief that comes with the tragic loss of such a young and vital man. RIP dear Carmine, you will not be forgotten.

"Cus", I will miss you dearly. You were a classic, no one will replace you. My deepest sympathies go out to your family and your friends who I am sure are saddened and feeing a significant loss. What I always cherished was your ability to keep family "glued" together. We had good times going way back to childhood days. What a loss we are feeling, Carmine was our leader and our "father" figure. Generous, kind, yet to the point. I loved to hear his stories and hear him laugh.

Carmine's personality and energy would light up the room. I always enjoyed it when he would come up to me and say Rose Carmel, let me tell you this...and would dive right into one story after another. I worked at Westinghouse with Carmine when he hired me for a summer internship while I was in college, and went on to work there for 10 more years after I graduated. He was instrumental in helping start my career and for that I am forever thankful.

Our world has dimmed with my cousin's passing, but heaven sure got a lot brighter. Rose Carmel Trasatti Heim

Uncle will never be forgotten, I'll always remember each time he whistled we would go running to him because all he wanted was a kiss. We would often question why we only called him uncle but I now realize that's just another way he showed his uniqness. The many New Year's Day dinners and the old times in the pool will always be a small part of the memories we all had. Uncle will be missed by many.

Carmen will be remembered as a cousin who always gave a smile, hug, kiss, and complimentt to me from when I was just a kid until the last time I saw him just months ago. A good guy all around-With love, Carol Rappucci Cary
