May Mrs. Murdoch rest in eternal, peace and power. She was such a sweet and loving soul. May God bless.

"Hello, may I please speak with the mother of John?"
This was the beginning of a wonderful friendship! When Carol, Paul, and Nick moved to Florida with Paul´s job, Nick and my son, John Ross, became fast friends. John Ross wanted to visit Nick at his apartment, but, being the overprotective parents Russ and I were we wouldn´t let him. Thus, Carol´s phone call. I loved her right then and there. Not only was John Ross allowed to visit, he practically lived there!
Carol was a beautiful, sweet friend. She was so faithful, honest, straight as an arrow, direct, selfless, a little mischievous. Carol loved her family, especially Paul.
I consider it a great blessing that we laughed a lot together, we shared many lunches with Anita, Winnifred, and Dorothy, we played together, we worshiped together, sang together, volunteered together. It is a privilege to be counted among Carol´s friends.
I can see that God´s hand guided her to call me that day, many years ago. Now He has called her home. May she rest in peace in His arms.

Carol was a dear friend and even though distance kept us apart for the last several years, I will miss her greatly. She had a loving, giving heart and a beautiful smile and would always tell me the truth. What a beautiful blessing she was to me and to all who knew her.
