Carol Brummett Obituary
with cancer.
She is survived by her sister Barbara Gunn of Toms River, NJ; Barbara's children: Hugh Gunn, Wife Mary
and Children Evan & Lauren; Diane Miles, Husband Bill Miles; Robert Gunn; James Gunn, Wife
Bernadette and Children Christopher and Stephanie; David Gunn , Wife Alexis; Chrisanne Starrett,
Husband John and Children Kevin & Brian.
Carol was born in Rahway, NJ and graduated from Rahway High and had an Accounting degree from FAU
in Florida. She was retired after working 38 years for Rinker Materials in West Palm Beach.
Carol donated her time to the Salvation Army, and was president of her Auxiliary and organized Heart of
Gold Fundraisers. Carol also donated her time to Crafty Ladies, Citizens on Patrol, and the Palm Beach
elections board. Her hobbies included tennis, bowling, Mah Jong, knitting, crossword and jigsaw
puzzles and zip lining. Carol enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest.
A celebration of life ceremony is scheduled for Monday October 8 at Quattlebaum Funeral Home
located at 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33417 (5pm-8pm) and Mass Service on Tuesday
October 9th at St. Ignatius Loyola located at 9999 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410
(10am). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol's life.

Carol has been a great neighbor, and fellow dog-lover, for many years. We are lucky to have fond memories of her.

I met Carol threw the Salvation Army she welcomed me to help with the woman,s club. I really loved her I enjoyed helping her when ever she asked me. She will be dearly missed.She was such an Inspiration to many.The lord is waiting for you you suffered a long time.Diann
