Carol Buccieri Obituary
She is predeceased by both her sister Kathy Silva and brother-in-law Jay Silva. Carol took in their young daughter after their deaths and raised her as her own. Carol was originally from West Haven and spent the last 15 years in Shelton. She went to West Haven High School and graduated in 1981. She spent the last 20 years working for Goodwill of Southern New England. It was a place she truly loved to work and she was adored by her colleagues. She leaves behind her loving son Brandon (Daniel), Niece Gianna Silva, Brother Peter Buccieri (Linda), Niece Kristen Moreira (Eric), Nephew Michael Buccieri (Paulina) and 3 great nephews whom she adored.
Carol deeply loved her family and friends. She would not want anyone to mourn her. She requested instead of tears to do a random act of kindness for a stranger. She dreamed of the world being a better place.
A mass for her will be celebrated on Monday January 16th at 11am. Saint Lawrence Church in West Haven CT.

Carol was an amazing, kind hearted soul who left this world too soon. Cancer is so stupid but she was a fighter to the end, God bless her!....Carol adored her family and spoke often of her love and pride for them. My heartfelt prayers are with you during this time and I will try to do acts of kindness often to honor her.

Carol was my step father Petes´ younger sister. I can think of no one who had anything but fond memories and great words to say about her. I often heard of this dreadful disease that reared it´s ugly head with her a few times, and I can honestly say I know of no one who put up a fight like her and won time and time again. She was a true inspiration and a strong willed woman. Carol, I hope you have found the peace you truly deserve with the Lord by your side... Love Richie Burgarella
