Carol Cella (Ambroceo) Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 22, 2025.
Carol A. Cella (Ambroceo), 85, passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2025. Carol was the devoted wife of the late Ralph Cella, and a beloved sister to William J. Ambroceo of Canton, MA and the late James W. Ambroceo. Carol was a treasured aunt to Scott W. Ambroceo and his wife Jen of East Bridgewater, MA, and Robert I. Ambroceo and his wife Mary of Walpole, MA. Carol was also a loving sister-in-law to Joan Ambroceo Baum and her husband Henri of Canton, MA and a proud great-aunt to Cole, Nathan, Emma, and Noah.

Carol also held a special place in her heart for her dear friends and extended family, Alphonse, Tricia and Angelo Cinque.

Born in Boston and raised in Canton, MA, Carol graduated from Canton High School and went on to build a career marked by dedication and integrity. She began her professional journey at Hale and Dorr Law Firm and later at the Internal Revenue Service in Boston before relocating to Florida. There, she found her true calling at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, where she served with distinction in both the Corrections Division and the Court Services Division for over 22 years retiring in 2014.

Carol's life was filled with simple joys. Carol loved to travel, nurture her garden, and share meals and laughter with those she loved. She may well have kept Hale Groves in business with the sheer number of oranges she shipped to New England each year, always making sure her family had a taste of Florida sunshine no matter the season.

A burial service will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery on Friday October 17th, 2025 at 2:00 pm.

Carol, had a passion to take care of those God placed in her life whether it was excellence in her job for her bosses, to help a love one like her husband, to meet the needs of friends with a caring hug, word of encouragement or give you the biz when needed, you saw the love for special people in her life that Carol only wanted the best for them because she loved them like a son, daughter or grandson. This was the joy in her life.... She loved life and to travel... I will miss her dearly and the most will be her smile that lite the room up and her cute laugh... so blessed to have known her and called her my friend... God Bless you care you´ll forever be in my heart. Love you...Our deepest condolences to her family .... Cheryl and Nelson
