I just want to say thank you for all of the long conversations we had when I had questions growing up! I loved the few but fun times playing dominoes with you and dad, and you swearing that dad was cheating... say hello to my brother and Peggy for me. Till we see each other again! Your youngest Cheri

When I was young Aunt Poodle's house was one of my get aways for summer vacation. She was feisty and strict but always full of helpful advice. I loved her dearly and will miss her southern drawl and soft voice. God bless you Auntie.

Aunt Poodle has been a part of life since my birth. I always knew we would have a fun time visiting with them on our drives to Modesto. She always looked beautiful and never seemed to age! I know she missed her family very much and I'm hoping she's having a wonderful reunion with them all. Our family reunions were epic so I can only imagine the party going on right now. She was a very loving, giving person and I am going to miss her very much. Our hearts go out to Uncle Ron, Ricky, Terry and her grandchildren on their loss.

I didn't get to spend a lot of time with Aunt Carol, but I always looked forward to seeing her. Although I didn't spend much time with the Gilbert side it always felt like she went out of her way to make me feel like that's where I belonged. I will always remember when Ron and Carol took us out for ice cream for the first time. I may be exaggerating but I swear the scoops were as big as my head. I will miss her dearly.

I remember Aunt Carol as kind and always smiling. She loved card games and family time. And yes she always had perfect hair. As the family becomes smaller I think of how many Gilbert's are up there to greet her along with her own kids and I am sure she's still smiling. My prayers are with you Uncle Ron and with the rest of her family at this time. Goodbye is never easy.
Love Melanee

Carol was a fun and outgoing person and we lived spending time with her. She loved bingo and cards. My boys will always remember time with their cousins in the swimming pool. She was one of a kind and will be missed. Ny all.
