I wish I could be there and just hold you all close and let you know how much I love you and could perhaps in some way help ease your sorrow.
I also know there is a certain peace in your hearts, too, knowing your mom is free of her physical bodily problems and is now enjoying the warm embrace of not only our Lord and Savior, but those of so many family and friends that have preceded her. I take great comfort in that.
Please convey my condolences to all your family. I just pray that we can stay close and be a close knit family of Everett and Onie's. I hope that I will get to meet my sisters' grandchildren and great-grandchildren someday!
I love the pictures of Carol on the web site.
Love you all,
Aunt Shyrl

To Carol's Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's death. I pray that God give you peace through the coming days and weeks. Carol was always a favorite cousin. When your Dad was overseas for a time and she was living with her parents, I lived on the same farm, and went to see her every day. She was always patient and kind, although looking back I must have been a terrible 10 year old nuisance! I will always remember her with love.

Whenever I heard that Aunt Carol, Uncle Bob, Terri, Rita and Deb were coming to Iowa for a visit, I looked forward to that visit with great anticipation. And I was never disappointed. Those visits created some of the most wonderful family memories that, I, as the first grandchild of Everett & Onie, can recall. I think what made Aunt Carol so special is that she made everyone of us feel like we were the most special person on earth. She was able to do that because of her charisma, wit, compassion, kindness, humor, gentleness and calmness. She has been my role model my whole life. I so looked up to her, and she never disappointed. I will miss her terribly, but as long as I live, her memory lives on in my heart. I will always remember her with love, respect, joy, and a deep appreciation that my life was enriched by hers. My heartfelt condolences to all of her family.

Dear Terri, Rita and Debbie,
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that happy family memories will help ease you through this time, will give you peace and bring a smile to your hearts.
It was always a special treat to get to spend time with Uncle Bob and Aunt Carol and you girls.
I wish we could all be together to support you. Know that we are with you in our hearts!
Love,

Your mom will be missed by all. She had a special place in her heart for all her family and all her family had a special place in their heart for her. We all were so excited when we would get the news that the Greens were coming home for a visit. I have a special place in my heart for her because she was the one that insisted that your Uncle Morrie give me a call, otherwise I may never have become part of your precious family.

My Love and Prayers to you all
Aunt Delores

I loved the time we spent with Uncle Bob, Aunt Carol, Terry, Rita, and Deb. We had the best times ever when we got together whether it was in Iowa or Florida. I loved to hear Aunt Carol tell stories in her sweet southern style always with liberal does of humor. Terry, Rita, and Deb, you did a wonderful job of loving and caring for your Mom after Uncle Bob passed away. I, too, wish I could be there for the service. I hope you can feel my thoughts and prayers across the miles as I send you my love and condolences. Nancy

Thoughtful, caring, kind, loving, giving, sincere, sweet, beautiful -- Aunt Carol was all of them. I always loved visits from Aunt Carol. She just had one of those personalities that everyone loved. People were drawn to her. She was so much like Grandma Harrison, in both looks and personality--both, two truly wonderful people. I loved it when she would say, "Oh, for goodness sake", in her southern accent. I remember our family vacation to Virginia when we were kids. That is one of my most favorite childhood memories. We had so much fun. I remember Aunt Carol giving me a whole pack of gum! Not just a stick of gum, the whole pack! I thought that was just great. I wish I could be there for her service, but please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Aunt Carol will be greatly missed, and heaven has gained a precious and beautiful angel. It's a comfort to know that we will see her again someday.

Love always,
Laurie

We didn't see each other often, but I have the best memories of my Uncle Bob and Aunt Carol, Terri, Rita, and Deb. The Harrison family was finally complete when they would visit and we could all be together. To Terri, Rita, Deb and your families- you are in my thoughts today, with love always. Kathy

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother was beautiful inside and out; so sweet with never a harsh word from her mouth. I wish we would have been able to spend more time with your family over the years; just too many miles between us. I have fond memories, love in my heart, and now some pictures to remind me of one of our most precious gifts; your mother, my Aunt Carol.
Hugs and Love to all of you.
