Katherine M. "Kay" LeBoeuf, 82, of Whippany, N.J., and Naples, Fla., passed away at Forest Manor Healthcare in Frelinghuysen, N.J., on April 18, 2013. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Rd., Whippany, on Tuesday, April 23, at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd, Whippany, on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. For further information, or to send a condolence, visit www.bradleyfuneralhomes.com. Born and raised in Newark, N.J., Kay lived in Whippany for many years before retiring to Naples, and Stewartsville, N.J. Many years ago, she worked as a model for Kresge's Department Store in Newark, and as a secretary for local construction companies. Kay later became an executive secretary at Exxon Research and Engineering in Florham Park, retiring in 1994 after 15 years of service. "Aunt Kay" will be fondly remembered for her legendary cleaning and ironing skills, her organization, and her devotion to her family and faith. Kay was the beloved wife of the late Frederick. She was the loving mother of Rick and his wife, Joanne, and Jill LeBoeuf. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughters, Ashley and Jody; her dear sisters, Anna Schmidt, Rita DeBoey, and her husband, Jerry, Marge Schleifer, and her husband, Joseph, and Gail Dennebaum, and her husband, Vincent, as well as many loving relatives. Kay's granddaughter, Mallory, passed away previously. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay's memory may be made to your local hospice organization.
