Born in Oakland, CA to the late George and Ruby Bauman, Carol was preceded in death by her Brother, Barry Bauman and Son, Jason Hunt. She is survived by her ex-husband Michael Hunt, Daughter Tracy Grisler, and Son-in-Law Joseph Grisler.
Carol enjoyed time by the sea, walks with her dog Sammie and spent much time with her companion Dave Johnson of La Grange, CA. She would drive several hours with Sammie to spend time at the coast and enjoy walks on the beach as well as some of the hills in San Francisco. Carol's friends all considered her to be a kind and thoughtful person who loved to help others.
She was a graduate of Fremont High School Class of 1956 and for the past several years served on the Fremont High School Reunion Committee which held their 55th reunion in 2011. Carol was also an active parishioner of St. Phillip Neri Church in Alameda.
Family and Friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 8:30 am, at Greer Family Mortuary, 2694 Blanding Ave, Alameda, followed by the Funeral Service at St. Philip Neri, at 10:30am, 3101 Van Buren Street, Alameda with a reception to follow.
