CAROL DIANE IRICK

CAROL DIANE IRICK, 72, of New Haven, Ind., went peacefully to our Lord on Friday, Feb. 10 2017, to be with her beloved husband of 45 years William "Tom" Thomas IV. She was the daughter of the beloved Ralph and Mary Martha Snyder. Carol, also known as "mamma," dearly loved her five children, 20 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She enjoyed home remodeling, gardening, camping, golfing, sewing, bingo, and traveling. With a strong Catholic faith, she was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, where she volunteered much of her time as a cheerleading coach, Boy Scout leader, and at the school. Surviving are her children, William "Bill" Irick V, Bridget (Byron) Lomow, Barbara (Steve) Wissman, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Larry) Johnson, and Andrew "Andy" (Kari) Irick. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, with calling 1/2 hour prior. The Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with a vigil service at 3:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery.
