Never met you personally Ms. Carol, but through your daughter Carolyn I came to know of you over the past 20 years. You gave much and shared much but most importantly you made others feel important and loved. Through the care and time they shared with you they became even more loving people. Both Carolyn and Jan gave us pause to reflect on our love for our parents. Thank you for that and for them. May you rest in peace.

What an angel I found in dear Carol! She always had a smile for me, even on a difficult day. And oh! how she loved to place her complete faith and trust in her dear family and those she considered her friends - which was just about everyone once she got to know each one well.
I began attending to Carol with the idea that I was supposed to give service to her and try to uplift her, but I always went away from my visits with her feeling as though it was I who had been uplifted and that I had definitely been served with the utmost kindness and love. And when we'd see each other in the hallway of Wentworth Assisted Living, we had our "own special wiggle" that we did that left us both giggling. That was the best greeting I've ever gotten from anyone in all the time I've had the opportunity of spending there. And even when I found out that our "special wiggle" wasn't exclusive to our relationship, I could only smile at the thought that Carol would use it to make as many of us as possible feel happy, and special to her. Thank you, Carol, for your sweet love and friendship. I cherish your lovely memory and hope to one day have the sweet privilege of meeting you again. And thank you to your family - especially sweet and lovely Carolyn - for her friendship, and for her kind consideration even after you left Wentworth. I love you.
