Carol Ann Roy Lemon

Carol was such a wonderful friend . She helped me buy my home when I moved to Prattville in 2003. She was ever so patient and helpful as she always wanted me to have exactly what I wanted. I made Gingerbread houses for her for several years. One year I had made 50 houses and then my mixer broke. I called and told her I couldn't meet her requirements because I couldn't find one in town to replace the broke mixer. A couple days later there was a knock at the door, there she stood with a large box with a bow on it. Merry Christmas Carol said. With a BIG Smile and grinn, Carol said, I need 5 more Gingerbread houses ASAP. That year I remember making more than 60 Gingerbread houses for Carol. She never reviewed her source. It was such a joy to know and work together with Carol over the years. Words cannot express how much you'll be missed. All my best to the family. Don Chambers

I met Carol Lemon when I moved to Prattville as the manager of Sherwin Williams. She was a wonderful lady and I always enjoyed working with her. I always knew were she was selling homes because her little Yellow VW would be parked in front of the house. Carol will be missed. Prayers for her family.

What a wonderful lady we have lost in our community. When our family moved to Prattville 15 years ago Mrs. Lemon was there to make us feel right at home.She is the epitome of a true Southern lady.

A beautiful tribute to a special lady. Carol will be missed by all that knew and loved her, a life well lived.

I fondly remember her saying to me,"It is not Ms. Lemon, it's Carol." She would come, worried about us, as waitresses, and not want to be a bother to us. "Carol, I enjoyed serving you at Country's BBQ,Cracker Barrel & at Jim's. Sipping that coffee and doing your homework. Imma going to miss you. Love, Dee Dee Engart

Carol has been our neighbor on Quail Run for over40 years and we are deeply saddened to learn of her death. Rest in Piece lovely lady. You made Prattville proud as a successful business woman.

Our Condolences are with the family but know she is Dancing at the Gates of Heaven. We will miss you so much. Such an amazing & very nice person.
