I will always remember my Aunt Carol as being loving and sensitive, always laughing at any and everything. I remember growing up thinking that it was nothing that she couldn't do and not hesitating to address those envelopes to "Oral Roberts" hahahahah, she was a strong and beautiful woman and God truly has an angel with him in heaven, take care of your brothers and PawPaw too. I love you Auntie, and will miss you so much going home is not going to be the same without seeing you sitting in the kitchen.

Your Niece,

Nincey (Dolly)

To my dear and wonderful family, I give my deepest and sincere sympathy. Let us all remember what Cal has confirmed, and that is "God Is Good". Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning. I love you all.

To my great niece and Nephew,

Courtney and Donovan, you exemplify what grandchildren should be in the respectful manner you always treated and loved your grandmother. She loved and adored both of you. Even when she became extremely ill, during her last days, she became alert when the two of you entered her room and began talking to her. Her greatest joy was seeing the two of you doing so well in school and the closeness you shared with each other.

Courtney, you have always been that "anchor" for Donovan. She expressed to me on numerous ocassions how you took care of him. From the time you were two or three years old, the two of you developed a special bond and it has remained strong to this day. She knew that she did not have to worry about Donovan because you were always going to be there for him.

My prayer for you is that you remember the love and the strength you grandmother demonstrated to you. Even with all of her medical problems, she enjoyed you two to the fullest.

Love you guys,

Auntie Rose

To My nephews,

Your mother was both mother and father to you. You were the "apples" of her eyes and there was nothing that she would not do for you. She truly enjoyed the competition between the two of you as to which one of you she loved best. The little tricks you played trying to make her choose always made her laugh. Randall, you know the comedian you are and how we would laugh and your mother would laugh just as hard even though she rarely got the joke the first time.

Reggie, You gave her two great grandchildren, Courtney and Donovan, whom she adored. Because she helped you rear them, she felt like they were actually hers. She always had a listening ear when they told her of their achievements and what was going on in their lives.

She loved the Lord and even in sickness, she was a testimony to many telling them how good God was to her. On the Monday before she passed, she had the strength and ability to ask me to pray for her.

Be proud, be strong and most of all, remember she loved the Lord and you with all of her heart. You are truly blessed to have had her as your mother.

With Love and Prayers,

Auntie Rose
