Carol Perrone Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 18, 2025.
Carol Ann Perrone, 74, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, in Old Saybrook, Connecticut while surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Carol lived a life filled with love and dedication for her husband, family and friends. Carol was born on May 7, 1950 in Hartford, CT to parents Helen & Robert Lincoln of East Hartford, CT. She shared a close bond with her sister Jeanne and held dear her niece Jenny and nephew Bobby. She is predeceased by her brother Robert who is survived by his wife Carol and their daughters Lisa and Lori. She shared a devoted marriage of 56 years with her husband, Tom, and found immense joy in all of their life adventures together. Her biggest pride was raising their two sons, John and Jason and the close relationship they all shared. Her love extended to her daughters-in-law, Cindy and Olivia. Carol's heart was fullest when surrounded by her grandchildren Gino, Maya, Isabella, Lila and Alex. Always waiting for them with a huge hug, she loved to hear of how their lives were unfolding and she was immensely proud of each of them. She had such love for her in-laws, brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews and extended family. If you were a part of Carol's heart, you were a part of her family. Carol enjoyed a variety of professional careers that always equated to respect in her field and good friends she made for a lifetime. She loved spending time with her bowling friends and cherished neighbors. Carol was extremely loyal and supportive. For those who knew and loved her, Carol's sense of humor and laughter were unmatched. She knew everything could be fixed with a little chat and some fresh salt air and loved living by the ocean both in Florida and Old Saybrook. She loved a good time, great music and had a zest for life that will be missed by everyone in her life. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Duffy Pavilion located at 155 College Street in Old Saybrook, CT. Loved ones are invited to attend in bright, cheerful clothing and share in memories of Carol. In lieu of flowers, please consider a small donation to FACT- a local branch of The V Foundation for Cancer Research (www.v.org)

This picture of Carol says it all. Always a smile and the most fantastic laugh & giggle. She was always happy to be with friends and family. So proud of her children and grandchildren.
I was so blessed we reconnected with Carol & Tom so many years after high school. My blessing for sure.

Carol was a bright light, that lit up every room she was in. Our families were blessed to have her as part of our clan. Her ready smile and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

A beautiful tribute for a lovely lady. Carol was a great neighbor and friend. She always brought a smile to my face and with Tom came to my aid A LOT! Finer people one could not find.
