Carol CONLON REES

Dear Rees family, I can't believe that it's been a year since your mom's passing. Your mom became a very close friend with my mother (Sue Barker Renaud). when in the Monastery. They sat together every evening talking about their favorite subject... Their children. When she was bedridden my mother spent her evenings visiting in her room. It's was very heartwarming to see such a bond between them and I hope this helps give you comfort in knowing that she had a caring friend until her final moments...

To all the Rees and Conlon families. I was dreading the day that I would see this notice. Aunt Carol always had a very, very special place in my heart. I am honored to be part of her family and I cherish the fact that she read a poem at my wedding. My heart hurts but my soul sings with the memories of her.

I met your parents when I was a teenager and visited your home in Aylmer on one occasion. Then I met Carol again at the Monastery where my parents, Edna and Frank Daly also live.
I recall Carol's kindness and gentle ways - my mother, Edna, considered her a dear friend at the Monastery. I know your Mom missed your Dad terribly.

To the Rees Family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your Mother. She was like a 2nd Mom to me as I spent more time at 71 Albert, than I did at my own home.
