Bob and Family, when I read the notice was hoping it wasn't your loss but through reading this guest book my assumptions are true. I have known you for years from our West Seneca days and now our Derby days. May you and your children live strong with the fond memories of your wife and their mother. God has a way of taking those we love before their time, but he does not take away all that they have meant to us regardless of their length of time in our lives. May God bless you and your family.

Bob, Ashley and Brandon, our prayers and thoughts are with you guys. Don't really know what to say other than God takes the good ones too early for some reason beyond our comprehension. Take comfort though, in knowing her suffering is over and she is truly in a better place and someday you all will be re-united. God Bless you all,

My deepest sympathy to all of Carol's family on the loss of a truly special person. I worked with Carol for 13 years and always knew her to be a kind and loving nurse, co-worker and friend. May you find solace in knowing she is with our Lord and Savior, a guardian angel shining love upon you all.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Carol as she made her way through the nursing program at ECC. Carol was an outstanding student with a kind heart and warm smile, a natural nurse. Carol would often share stories of her family, from her laughter and smile you could tell just how much she loved all of you. I can not begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss and what a loss for this entire communitee of such a wonderful nurse. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Rindfleisch family,
It is with great sadness that we offer condolences to you for the loss of Carol. We worked with her some years ago at St. Catherines. Our paths crossed and she touched our hearts, we remember her fondly.
Remember "a heart is not judged by how much we love, but how much we are loved by others" Carol touched many lives, and she is loved by many...

“Absent from the body
present with the Lord”

To those I love, and to those who love me
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears
Be thankful of our beautiful years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me happiness.
I thank you for the love you have shown,
But now it’s time I traveled alone, so grieve
a while for me, if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It’s only for a time that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on,
And if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near,
And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must
come this way alone,
I’ll greet you with a smile,
And say “Welcome home”

I will always remeber Carol as an intelligent, bright, wonderful & talented woman. I am honored to have been able to call her "friend" through nursing school. She is deeply missed. I honestly believe that we are put on this earth to achieve great things...she did... motherhood, nursing, grandmotherhood & wife. God Bless all of you. Carol...be at peace. Love always...

If you go while we're still here, we will know that you live on. Vibtating to a different measure, behind a veil we cannot see through. We cannot see you, so we must have faith. And we will wait for the time when we can be together again, aware of each other. Until then, we will live our lives to the fullest; and when we need you, we will whisper your name in our hearts, and you will be there.
Our deepest sympathy to you Bob and your families. Our prayers and heartfelt thoughts are with you now. Jan & Jim

It is with deep sadness that I write to you, the family of Carol, who touched so many lives while a patient in the hospital. I think I speak for all my colleagues in the GI unit when I say that her bright smile, and her positive upbeat attitude served as a lesson to all of us how quickly life can change, but attitude is everything. Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of Carol, who was taken much too early, but certainly showed dignity beyond her years. You should take great pride in the love you showed her, and the support she got from all of you. She was a very special person.
