To Ryan & Family:

Many people come and go in our lives, very few become friends. I was blessed to have had her as my friend these past 20 some years. Her smile and her laughter, oh yes, her laughter could light up the room. Her devotion as a loving mother, nurse and the special friendship we shared will never be forgotten. When she would hear someone was ill she would always pray for them. She put the needs of others before her own. This was especially true when it came to the needs of her son, Ryan. To all of you who her and were there for her, God Bless You All! We can rest assured there her love, compassion and legacy will live on in him.

Sincerely
Jeffrey Walter

Carol was the nicest lady I've ever met. I met Carol this past summer since her son Ryan is one of my best friends. Carol and Ryan had a mother-son relationship that every boy dreams of. She was the coolest mom anyone could have asked for. May you rest in peace with our Lord, you will be greatly missed Carol.

Carol was by far the nicest lady I've ever met. I met Carol through her son Ryan, who is one of my best friends, in August of this past summer. She was the coolest mom any guy could ever ask for. Carol and Ryan had a mother-son bond that every guy wishes they had with their mother. May you forever rest in peace with our Lord Carol, you will be missed greatly.

So sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I've thought of her often. She fought so long. She was a caring RN and a devoted mother. May she rest in peace and may her son be comforted by all their great memories they have made. Rest in peace.

My heart still breaks for the loss of my dear friend Carol. I will always remember her smile and dimples. What I most remember is the loving way she always looked at her son. She would travel to the ends of the earth to see him play ball and be with him. I'm sure her presence will be there in spirit this season and next season and the seasons after that in whatever Ryan does. She is smiling down on him right now. I will miss Carol. She is an inspiration and irreplaceable. Besides Ryan, my deepest sympathy to her sisters brothers and also to Bob.

From St. Francis to AGH, you made me smile. I remember being pregnant together and you falling in love with Ryan the moment you met him. There couldn't have been a more devoted mother, nurse, or friend. I have the many birthday cards, & just thinking of you cards, that you never forgot to send. You'll be in my heart always.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Carol's passing. What great memories I have of our time as high school friends. There were only a few true friends from that time and Carol was most definitely one of them. May God's love and comfort be with you and your family and may your grieving be replaced with days full of cherished memories.

Carol Roell touched so many people in so many loving ways. Carol's dedication, passion and comittment to her nursing career and her son Ryan were commendable and will live on forever. Carol was always thoughtful and generous; never forgot a birthday and special ocassions. Her legacy of kindness will live on in Ryan as he goes through life following the examples she has set for him. May God Bless Ryan and Carol's siblings/family and friends who were all very dear to her. We find comfort in knowning that Carol is reunited with her parents; especially her mom and all those who have gone before her.
