Carol Salvadore Obituary
Carol Joan Nichols Salvadore was born in Coos Bay and raised in the Coos Bay-North Bend area.
As an adult, she moved many different places throughout several states, and everywhere she lived was home to us, her children and family. Her last home here on earth was in Lebanon.
Carol is survived by her children, Julie Rumreich, Jenny Dean, Dann McCormack and Laurie Bryan; her brother, Frank Nichols; and numerous beloved grandchildren.
Carol was a woman of exceptional strength and resilience, full of love and kindness. Regardless of any circumstances thrown her way, she chose to find beauty and joy in life, and laughed easily, sharing a happy and positive attitude with those lucky enough to be around her. She strove to help others, reaching out and sharing her time, abilities and resources with a giving heart.
She had a gift for making us each feel like the most special person in her life. As her children, we never doubted her love for us, and, in fact, each of us believes we were her favorite.
We are so blessed to have had our mother in our lives, and she will always be one of the best parts of each of us. We carry her with us and hope to make her proud as she looks down on us from her final destination, heaven.
Private family services have been held. A celebration of life will take place on Aug. 1 in the Willamette Valley. You can call Julie Rumreich at 541-260-1000 for details.
