Auntie was always light hearted and kind spirited. Ask her a business question and she and she lit up! Even at the very end of her life she helped me with an issue on my P&L Statement.
I had many wondering adventures with Auntie! She could steer her car hands free and drive with her knee! She introduced me to Jamoca Almond Fudge & Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream from Baskin Robbin´s. Which I still order every time to this day. We would explore the tide pools and then have pancakes at a cafe and sit outside. We would sit on the back porch and play with Puppy. I got to sleep in her bed for sleepovers. She took me school shopping one time and I remember being excited about new clothes for school.
Childhood weekends were spent with her and my Mom. Crafts and shopping we went everywhere together.
When I had my first boyfriend she put me on the spot with serious life questions. Which I admire because as an Auntie you can easily be the FUN One. She always put others before herself.
I love her dearly and I will cherish everything I learned from her ..... some spoken and some just leading by example.
She joked she wanted tequila with every meal she ordered the last few months of her life. I saw her drink one glass of wine one time my entire life. Her sense of humor stood the test of time until the dying end.
I LOVE YOU Auntie!
