I knew Carol from work and would sit with her on occasion in the cafeteria and visit with her. She wasn't a coworker or even a friend but more of an acquaintance. I used to hear her "niece" Erika speak so highly of her and how close her Aunt Carol and Erika´s mother were. It brings me sadness that you all have lost her. My sincere condolences. I just found out of her passing.

Jim and Carol were our fun next-door neighbors on 19th Court. They were the first parents of our well-loved, Cocker Spaniel, Mac, and his forever parents when they adopted him back, as our family was sent to live in Italy for two years by the USAF and we were not able to take him with us. They even let us live in their house while on vacation since our furniture didn't arrive when we did after returning. They took me water-skiing for the first time and because of Jim's patience, my arms actually got me out of the water for a few minutes. The last time I saw Carol was in Stater Bros. I hadn't seen them in at least 15 years. I was standing in line and heard someone talking behind me and I thought, "I know that voice!" Sure enough, I turned around and it was Carol. I'm so glad I have that memory and was able to talk with her. I know we haven't seen each other in many years, but I still have fond memories of those neighbor days. We will be praying for you and your family, Jim.

I worked with Carol at St. Bernadine's for many years. She always had a smile on her face and was a most friendly, compassionate and professional person. I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
