Carol Ann Snodgrass

Carol Ann Steinberger Barker Snodgrass, 63, of Columbus, formerly of Seymour, departed this life at 11:06 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Snodgrass worked as a bartender at the Hi Ho/Deuce Ann Restaurant from 1972 until 1994 and owned the Attitudes Bar from 1994 until 1998.
She was a member of American Legion Post 89 and Roaring 22's Pistol Club and worked with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She was a mom, sister and friend to many in this community through the years.
Born Nov. 26, 1948, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Oliver A. and Lena J. Lewis Steinberger, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Robert Barker, Cathy (Laura) Barker and Ryanne Jennifer Snodgrass; five grandchildren, Katie Lynn Barker, Jaylan Jewel Simpson, Benjamin Bradley Fowler, Chase Robert Waelbroeck and Lilianna Therese Waelbroeck; two great-grandchildren, Zane Nathaniel Sutton and Rylan Xander Sutton; and two sisters, Sharon Satterly and Becky Nolan Reynolds.
The Rev. Dennis McCarty will conduct funeral services at 7 p.m. Friday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded per Carol's wishes.
