Carol Terry-Beaudoin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 1, 2025.
Winter Haven, Fl - On 8/3/2025, Carol Anne Terry-Beaudoin passed away following a short illness. She was loved by so many and impacted countless lives. Carol was born on 8/19/1950 in Burlington, VT to Ralph and Marjorie Terry. She grew up on East Allen Street in Winooski and attended Memorial School in her early years followed by Rice and Winooski High School. In 1968, she married the love of her life, Richard Beaudoin. They went on to live in Northgate in Burlington before settling down on Holy Cross Rd. in Colchester where they lived for 42 years. They went on to have 3 beautiful daughters, Stacey, Tammey, and Kimberly. Carol held many different jobs including being an Optometry Assistant, a Hairdresser and many other jobs, but the most important to her was always being a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Family was the most important thing to her throughout her life and she was always most proud of her family and their accomplishments. All those who met Carol immediately felt the enormous amount of love she had to give the world. Whether she was spending time with her pets, friends, or family, she always had the goal of being the life of the party and lived to have a good time and ensure that others shared in this. Carol was always a woman of faith, serving as a Sunday school teacher at Holy Cross Church and as a member of the church choir for many years. In 2022, Carol and Rick moved to Winter Haven, Florida along with their two daughters Stacey and Tammey, where she lived the rest of her golden years soaking up the sunshine. She didn't stop being busy though, she participated in a chorus group in her community and continued attending church in Winter Haven. She was always excited to go on excursions with her community and could often be found riding a golf cart around and spending time at the pool.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard, whom she never stopped loving as much as the day she met him. She is also survived by her three daughters, Stacey Beaudoin of Winter Haven, FL, Tammey Doria and her husband Jeremy of Winter Haven, FL, and Kimberly Beaudoin and her partner Arthur Monaghan of Colchester, VT. Carol is survived by 7 grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Alicia and Matthew Martelle of Underhill, VT and their children August and Aurora, Anthony and Abby Doria of Longmont, CO, Alexis Doria and her wife Ramona Colandreo of Boston, MA, Natasha and Matthew LaChance of Burlington, VT, and Jonathan Hayes of Colchester, VT. Carol's family went far beyond blood relation and she is survived by many friends she considered family, honorary grandchildren, and her loving "chihuahua" Alley. Carol's family would like to thank all those who were a part of her life, especially Xia and Sandy who provided her so much love and care in her last months. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Church on October 4th, 2025 at 11 am. Church service will be followed by her burial at New Mount Calvary cemetery in Burlington, VT. The family invites guests to return to Holy Cross church after for a celebration of life.
