Carol Timmer Obituary
Born on December 21, 1957, Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Virginia Hammell of Wayne, as well as her three grandchildren: Brooklyn, Bristol, and Breese.
She is survived by her three children: Jessica (Kimberly) of White Lake, Andrew (Jennifer) of Nappanee, Scott of Livonia, and their father, former husband Timothy Timmer (Anne). Carol's legacy continues through her nine grandchildren: Brennan, Austin, Daniel, Bryce, Braxton, Jacob, Brinqley, Bridget, and Brighton; who all brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her five siblings: Thomas (Mary Jane), Marie, Denice (Eugene), Allen (Michaela), and Kat, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Carol will be remembered for her unwavering faith and her kindness and compassion for all living things. In the face of adversity, she remained steadfast in her love and devotion for Jesus. Her passion for music and sports was infectious; she enjoyed sharing these interests with anyone willing to listen. Above all else, Carol's life was marked by the love she gave so freely to those around her.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 1pm - 4pm for family and friends at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wayne, Michigan.
May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
