Carole Harrick

Carole May Harrick (Barclay) of Commerce, MI, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Born in Michigan, Carole attended Redford High School and Oakland University. She held many roles throughout her life including teacher, real estate agent, sales professional, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Jim (Kori) and Scott (Angela) Adams, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and her sister, Diane Higgins. Carole was an avid photographer and animal lover. She had many beloved pets over the years, including Sam, Barney, Maggie, Etta and Jasper. She also loved gardening, knitting, reading and spending time at Kensington Metro Park. Most of all, "Gram" enjoyed spending time with her large family. Carole was a sweet, small statured lady with a big personality, and never shy about sharing her opinions. She will forever be remembered and dearly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Carole's memory.
