Carole Tiefenbach Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 13, 2017.
Carole Tiefenbach August 15, 1969 - April 29, 2017 Carole A. Tiefenbach nee Boulay, beloved wife to Timothy, devoted mother to Katherine, Kandice, Kimberly and Kassidy, died peacefully at home, at age 47, on Saturday, April 29, 2017, after a tenacious battle with brain cancer. Carole was born August 15th, 1969, in Ottawa, Canada where she lived all of her childhood and formative years. As a young adult she left Canada with her new husband on their adventures throughout the United States. For over 27 years Carole worked as a Domestic Engineer of the highest class, dedicating her life, her whole career, to raising her children and her husband. She loved gardening, sewing, hiking and playing games online with her friends around the world. Carole was always involved with the community; the Red Cross, various local Fire Departments, and Catholic Church organizations, but she believed her highest honor was being made a Lifetime Member of the Claxton Volunteer Fire Department shortly before leaving for her new home in Texas. The men and women of Claxton Fire always held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her father, Ted Boulay Sr., her mother-in-law Karen Gray, her sister Lise, her brothers Victor and Ted Jr., her sister-in-law Judith Anne, her brother-in-law Michael and her cherished cousin Guy Lemire. Carole has graciously left her husband in the care of all her nieces and nephews: Aleksandria, Stephanie, Alexandre, Mathieu, Nadine, Paul, Theo, Thekla, Nina, Nicholas, Jennifer, Vanessa, Alanah, and Steven. Services were held on Friday, May 5, at St Mary's in Plantersville, Texas. For those that wish, donations can be made to either the American or Canadian Cancer Society.

I never knew her, but I'm friends with her daughter, and I've heard so much about her. Carole was definitely an amazing person, and even though I never had the chance to even say hi to her, I really wish the best for her.
