Caroline Cagle

Hendersonville - Caroline Rose Cagle "Sweet Caroline", age 5, of Hendersonville, died on Sunday, April 25, 2021. She was born in Asheville, NC, but resided in Hendersonville with her family, and was excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Betsy Elizabeth Short; uncles, Harold Cagle Jr., and Phillip Gilliam; and aunt Patricia Griffith.

Caroline enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed dressing up in beautiful, sparkly, princess dresses and high heels, just like the Disney princesses. She was known to change dresses 6 or 7 times a day. Caroline loved pet kittens, especially Sugar and Smokey. She had such a pretty little voice and loved to share by singing. By the time she was two years old, she knew all the words to Superstar, by the Carpenters.

Her desire to read and be read to, was impressive, as she enjoyed learning new things. She knew and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Caroline was a beautiful little girl who brought much joy to our lives. She loved her family and her family loved her even more. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile and sweet laugh. Dear sweet Caroline, we all look forward to being with you one day in Heaven.

She is survived by her dad, Wayne Cagle; sisters, Rhonda Cagle of Hendersonville, Elizabeth Hartle Carpenter and husband Caleb of Etowah, Gladys Cagle Branham and husband Dustin of Zirconia, and Sabrina Bazemore of Hendersonville; grandfather Harold Cagle Sr.; grandmother Addlee Cagle; nephews, Aaron Rolls of Hendersonville, Zander Stinchcomb of Hendersonville, Zavur Bazemore of Hendersonville; nieces, Makayla Cagle of Burnsville, Megan Cagle of Hendersonville, Isabella Branham of Zirconia, and Adrianna Rolls of Hendersonville; great-niece, Charlie Rose Lawson of Burnsville; great-nephews, Billy, Steve, and Elijah Rolls of Hendersonville; aunts, Donna Gilliam of Hendersonville, Anita Cagle of Hendersonville, and Kathy Nuckols of Hendersonville; uncle Gary McCall of Old Fort; many cousins and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Children and Family Resource Center of Hendersonville.

The family will be having a private memorial service.

Shuler Funeral Home is assisting the family.
