Caroline McCABE Obituary
April 6, 1919 - January 16, 2015
Caroline passed away at Copper Sky Lodge in Spruce Grove, Alberta at the age of 95 years.
She is survived by three daughters and one son: Caroline (James) Sanders, Florence (Lloyd deceased) Putnam, James (Shauna) McCabe, Irene (Ed) Miller; eleven Grandchildren: James, Robert and Blair Sanders, Debbie Stewart, Penny Reid and Ben Putnam, Shaun, Leigh and Brandon McCabe, Angela Harangozo, Kristine Hennig; twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild expected in June. Also survived by sister Nora (Ted) Black.
She was predeceased by her husband Jimmy in 1974, by her parents Florence and George Warne, sisters Mary, Dorothy, Florence and Grace and son-in-law Lloyd Putnam.
We would like to thank all the caregivers at Copper Sky for all the kind and loving care of our mother also thanks to Dr. K. Janschitz (or Dr J as she is known) for her visits to take care of Mom's medical needs every week.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on January 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Augustine's Parkland Anglican Church, 131 Church Rd., Spruce Grove (780-962-5131).
Interment will take place beside her husband Jimmy in Soldiers Field, Beechmount Cemetery at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

My sympathy to all your family on the passing of your Mother. I remember all the good times my parents told me about that they had with your parents at the McGavin's banquets. I always remember the wonderful smile your Mom had.

I am sorry that I won't be at the memorial service, but my thoughts are with all of you.
She will be missed at all our family functions and especially around the campfire at Devon. We were lucky to have her for 95 years.

Sincere condolences to all of the McCabe family. Your Mom lived a very long life with many years alone without your Dad, they are together again now and she has much to share with her dear Jimmy. We should all have learned much about life and death from your Mom. I loved her spunk. She will be missed.
