Caroline E. Selfe

DELTA Caroline Elaine Selfe, 48, died on Monday, January 11, 2010, in her home. She was the wife of Charles Carter Selfe, with whom she shared 15 years of marriage. Born on June 4, 1961, in Hanover, she was the daughter of Elaine M. (Schultz) Staub of Austin, Texas, and the late Rodney L. Staub. Previously living in Churchville, Md., she had moved to Delta approximately seven years ago. She was selfemployed, working as a virtual assistant, enjoyed reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with her son. In addition to her mother, she is also survived by a son, Carter M. Selfe of Delta; and two sisters, Christine M. Fisher and her husband, Donald of Hanover, and Constance L. Engle and her husband, Leidy of Austin, Texas. Following cremation, a time of reflecting and visitation with her family will be held on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta.
