Caroline Shirley

Caroline Shirley, 78, passed away Aug. 14, 2014. Survived by her children, Steve (Cheryl) Shirley, Tom (Joy) Shirley and Cathy (Mark) Persons all of Pueblo; son-in-law, Duane Enck; grandchildren, Stephanie (Josh) Thompson, Stacie (Mario) Mattivi, Megan Shirley, Michael Shirley, Matthew Enck, Erica Enck, Cindy St. Clair, John Persons and Deanna Persons; great-granddaughters, Jocelyn and Jordyn Thompson and Allison St. Clair; lifelong best friends, June and Hank Saldana; and many devoted, special friends. Preceded in death by her husband, William R. "Bill" Shirley; son, Michael Shirley; daughter, Susan Enck; and brother, Charles Gordon. Caroline was born to Charles and Katie Gordon on March 23, 1936, in Denver. She graduated from Centennial High School in 1954. Caroline was a member of First United Methodist Church and PEO Chapter F. Funeral service, 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, 11th and Court. Private interment.
