Carolyn was a wonderful person to all who know her. She was kind to a many of people in our town. Most of all she was a great grandmother to me.

I loved Mrs.Carolyn with all my heart. She was always there if you needed her and by my own experiences she would always lift a prayer to heaven when things were going crazy in my own life. We are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Carolyn; she was such a wonderful person and always a joy to be in her company. Mrs. Carolyn always greeted my family and me with a warm smile and kind words of wisdom. I know she had a special bond with my youngest daughter, Steffie, who she encouraged to "get that college degree" and never give up. What an inspiration she was to a teenager (now adult). We loved shopping at the Fabric and Gift Store, mostly just to visit with Mrs. Carolyn!!! She was so loved by many. Please know our thoughts and prayers will be with your family during this time, but remember she touched the hearts of many and left this earth with words that will impact others for a lifetime, as she was a very very wise lady. We all will miss her dearly.

Carolyn was a very special person. It started with material for our wedding, went on to things for our house, then to monogram bags for our first son then to special blankets for our last one.
