Carolyn G. Doherty

Carolyn was my great aunt, and even though she had a myriad of children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. she ALWAYS knew exactly who everyone was, and how we were connected to her.

I remember her with my son, when he was about five or six. She instantly endeared herself to him, telling him silly stories amd tickling him. Within minutes he was staring up at her with absolute admiration.

She had a special gift of making everyone feel welcome, and even once her hearing went-all it took was her giant, warm, welcoming smile to let you know that even if your exact words weren’t understood, the emotion was.

I offer my deepest sympathies to those whose lives will never be the same without her. Please know that all of you, and her, are in my heart.
