Carolyn T. (McFadden) Eggers, 83, of Bellevue, passed with her husband and children by her side as they traveled to Los Cabos, Mexico for the winter, on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Monday, January 13, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellevue. Visitation will be 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue, additional visitation will be 9:00 am - 10:00 am prior to Mass on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue. Carolyn was born August 2, 1941 in Dubuque, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Berning) McFadden. She graduated from Dubuque Wahlert High School in 1960. Carolyn married Daryll Eggers on August 22, 1964. She worked for Interstate Power prior to her marriage to Daryll. Carolyn was instrumental in helping with the renovation and running the restaurant at Potter's Mill in Bellevue for many years, many of the recipes were of her own creation. She enjoyed gardening, boating, and golf. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Daryll "Butch" Eggers; children, Brenden (Kimberly) Eggers and Kristin (John) Lovig; grandchildren, Stephanie (Austin), Caleb, Grayson, Alden, Eddie (Sage), Lucas, and James; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Bryson, and Briar; siblings, Paul (Beverly) McFadden, Gerald (Beverly) McFadden, Hugh (Lois) McFadden, , and Kathleen Koos; brothers and sisters in-law, Pat McFadden, Kathaleen Charlton, Barb Eggers, Willard "Greg" (Val) Eggers, Dan (Caroline) Eggers, and Bette "Tweet" (Tom) Lyman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Lillian McFadden; father and mother in-law, Willard and Marjorie Eggers; siblings, Dr. Phillip McFadden, Richard "Dick" (Carol) McFadden, Walter (Mary Lou) McFadden, Marianne (George) Piemonte, Patrick McFadden (infancy), and Francis McFadden (infancy); and a brother in-law, Virgil "Rocky" Eggers. Memorials in Carolyn's memory will be directed toward the Bellevue Flower Gardens on Riverview. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.hachmannfuneralhome.com
