Carolyn J. Hickey

Ms. Hickey was my 4th and 5th grade teacher around 1980. I can not say enough about her. I was in high school and would still go visit her. She was a special person and will not be forgotten.

Carolyn was my happy, always smiling cousin. She loved being a teacher and I'm sure she had all her students smiling. My condolences to Bob, Darlene, and all her family.

I had the pleasure of working in the same school district as Carolyn. When I think of Carolyn, I remember her sense of humor. She always had a smile on her face and would make me laugh. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but she is at peace now. She will be missed.

I will always cherish the time that I worked with Carolyn at Manning School. She was not only my second grade colleague but also a great friend for many years. Her generosity, encouragement, laughter, and concern for others made knowing her a true blessing. I have many special memories of her that I will always treasure. I know that she will be missed by many people. She is at peace now and will be looking down from heaven with her smile guiding those dear to her.

Carolyn, Thank you for letting me be a part of your life and allowing me to be your friend. Your smile and laughter always brightened and lifted my spirits. I will miss you deeply. Carolyn was a great friend - there through thick and thin and always ready for an adventure. She will be remembered for her laugh, her kindness and her strength of will. So sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. Kathy shared many cool memories of what an inspiration she was in her life...and to all of those that knew her. I think it's a blessing to have an extra angel in heaven watching over you, as I'm sure Carolyn is!

The one thing that stands out in my mind when I think of my Aunt is that she always treated people with kindness and respect. She always gave people the benefit of the doubt. For that awesome role modeling and example, I am truely grateful that my Aunt was in my life. She is my hero.

Sad to hear of her passing! She inspired SO MANY and was always a person who'd do anything for you! She will truly be missed! No words can describe what a fantastic lady she was! Always ready to listen and be there for you! She taught many to have confidence and to be their own person! May she be at rest now! We Will always remember you Ms. Hickey:)
