Carolyn Gale (Holman) Moore

Carolyn Gale Moore (nee Holman) passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 77, in Glen Rose, Texas. She was born on December 7, 1946, in Andrews, Texas, to the late Claudell Leatherwood and Archie W. Holman. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Alice Joan Lindsay, brother Archie D. Holman, and grandson Kyle Cox.

Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Kendall Tober, Juhree Knowles, and Susan Leigh, as well as her sister Yvonne Underwood and brother Bobby Holman. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Lindsey Bailey, Raquel Knowles, Joy Wright, Veronica Mahler, Stuart Perry, and Ashlynd Cox, along with her great-grandchildren Jolene Bailey, Levi Bailey, Luke Bailey, Ozzy Simms, Jackson Simms, Bowie Mahler, and Fiona Pack. Carolyn's companion, Kenny Price, was a source of great joy in her life.

Carolyn attended Andrews High School and later graduated from Permian General Hospital's 14th Vocational Nursing Class in 1972. She pursued a fulfilling career as a Small Business Owner and Licensed Vocational Nurse. Carolyn's dedication to her work and caring nature touched the lives of many.

In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed sewing and creating beautiful hair bows. She had a vibrant and strong personality, always seeking family fun and adventure. Carolyn loved fishing and cherished her travels to Cozumel. She also had a passion for crafting, which allowed her creativity to shine.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held in Hugo, Oklahoma, in the spring of 2024. Further details about the service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carolyn's memory to the American Lung Association.

Carolyn Gale Moore will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
