Carolyn Marie Lyndes, 79, of Covina, California passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024 surrounded by family. Carol was born on December 20,1944 in Massachusetts to Percival and Mary Fall. She was the eldest of five siblings who include brothers Ed, Jack, Rick, and sister Mary.

On Sept. 7, 1963, she married Kennth Lyndes and had three sons, Ken Jr., Mike, and Tim. She adored her husband of 58 years and was happiest when surrounded by family who knew her affectionately as Grammy.

Carol was a homemaker, but most importantly, she was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for being a passionate baker delighting her family and friends with her delicious cookies, nut rolls, fudge, and so much more that were a highlight at every gathering. Her creative spirit also shone through in her love for crafts, where she spent countless hours creating beautiful handmade items that brought joy to many.

Carol is survived by sons Ken Jr. and daughter-in-law Sue, Mike and daughter-in-law Eva, Tim and daughter-in-law Michelle, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, parents Percival and Mary, brothers Ed, Jack, Rick, sister Mary, and grandson Jacob.

Celebration of life to honor Carol are to be determined. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating her life and the joy she brought to so many.

Carol will be deeply missed but her legacy of love, creativity, and joy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
