I learned of carolyn's passing just tonight. She was one of my favorite people when we were in mommy and me together and helped me get through many a day of new mommy hood.
Our family is praying for you all and will think the great joy and love she had for you and for life.

Don, Shirley and Curtis,
We just found out about Carolyn's passing. Even though we haven't seen you for many years we were just talking about Carolyn and how fast she ran and beat all the kids in the neighborhood and how athletic she was. Our family is deeply sadden of her passing.
Love,

Last night was a Reunion at CCCHS, where I went to High School with Carolyn. I, and others, were stunned to see her name on the list of those from the school who have passed on. She was part of my circle of friends, and she and I became quite close over time. Her Woody Woodpecker Red Hair, and Firecracker Smile will never be erased from my mind. She was a wonderful person, full of laughter and honesty...I am lucky to have known her. Peace.

Dear Josh and Family,
I knew Carolyn as a spunky, fun-loving three year old girl on Pebble Beach Loop until her teenage years. My daughter informed me of your loss. I am saddened and will be praying for you and your family.

Dear Josh and family,
I, too knew Carolyn from our childhood together in Lafayette. I have so many wonderful memories of our lives on Pebble Beach Loop and always wondered where her adventurous spirit had taken her. I was sad to hear that she passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Carolyn from the time her parents brought her home until she was about 5 years old. I can tell you that I never knew anyone with the spark of life she had even at that young age. Over the years I often wondered about her. Then I read the Obit two weeks ago. What a shock. She will live on for ever in my memories.

Wish all of us cousins would have and could have lived closer to one another throughout the years... life is so short, and seems so much shorter after losing two cousins now. I will miss your free spirited ways Carolyn and my heart & prayers go out to your cute little family. You did good! Say hi to cuz Rodger for us... we love & miss you both, but know you are in a much better place and are at peace. Until we meet again....

Hi Josh and Family,
The Memorial Service for our happy exciting memorable niece were really extra special. The speeches, pictures, friends and family all gathered together and the walk down to the beach will always be in our hearts, just like Carolyn will. We were able to "meet" Riley for a second as our son Jim "spotted" her with a couple of other girls at the Memorial as she looks just like her mother for sure. Jim had never seen Riley before. That was a nice memorable "hug" that I gave her...Our prayers will be with you for life long comfort knowing that Carolyn is in Heaven enjoying Jesus and other loved ones, like her cousin, our son, Rodger...

So sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. I have fond memories of our childhood (I also grew up on Pebble Beach Loop). We spent many a Summer day playing until we were exhausted.

Dear Josh, Riley, and Kira,
I offer you my heartfelt sympathy on the death of your beloved wife and
loving mother. May God wrap His mantle of love around each of you and give you peace, courage, and strength to cope with your heavy cross of separation.
I know your beloved is now interceding with God for all the graces and blessings you'll need to help you each day. She is very close to you, and she will always be there for you with a listening ear. Talk to her just as you did when she was with you as it is very helpful therapy.
Be assured of my love and special prayers daily.

I had the pleasure of knowing Carolyn from Kindergarten through third grade at John Swett School until I moved away. She was part of the Blue Bird Camp Fire group that my mom co-led. Our paths crossed once again later in life briefly. Carolyn was always full of joy and smiles. My thoughts and condolences go out to the family. May her memory help you through this difficult time. in Thy mercy,
to have pity on the soul of Thy handmaid;
do Thou, Who hast freed her
from the perils of this mortal life,
restore to her the portion of everlasting salvation.

I am truly going to miss her smile coming in the back door of the office. Her laughter and the way share what was going on with her and the girls that day. There was always so much pride when ever she talked about her family. She was a very special person that I had the pleasure and the honor to know. Bless you and your family.

...We are so sorry Carolyn will not be with us physically and not with her precious family, but know where she is right at this moment...in Heaven with Jesus...That is a fact for all Christians...Carolyn and Rodger , cousins together and other loved ones...PTL!!!.
Remember Carolyn when she was the the most enthusiastic player at UCSC playing soccer. We were so proud of her!!!! She was having so much fun!!......Also, remember little baby Carolyn when Shirley came down to Santa Cruz and asked me to cut her tiny little fingernails......What a cutie she was and a "chic" young lady...Can hardly wait to see her again!!!!
