We felt a great void today to hear of Carolyn's passing. Located next door to them
for over thirty years in business, there has yet to be a week where past customers often ask where they moved to.I smile and
explain, retirement three years ago.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Rasmussen passing away. She was a wonderful person. I will never forget the many halloweens I had, as well as my children, going to her house to get the most delicious cookies ever tasted. May she rest in peace and her family feel the love from so many people she touched.

Throughout my tenure at Calcot the wonderful pastries from your bakery graced our many meetings. The greatest pleasure was to stop early in the day and pick up the waiting order. Carolyn always had a warm hello and smile for me. She and Fleming were such a part of our Bakersfield community and are missed. We know that she is in a better place and we celebrate having known her.
