Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Aunt

Carolyn Sands, age 83, passed away peacefully in Tampa, Florida at the Melech Hospice House, lovingly attended by her sons, Richard and Randall Sands.

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Carolyn was the daughter of William Wasyk and Anna Michniewicz Wasyk and the youngest of eight siblings.

Her husband, Richard Sands, was the love of her life. They raised sons, Richard Jr. and Randall, the center of Carolyn's world. A special bond existed with her nieces, Vicki and Debbie, the daughters she never had. Her grandson, Branden Sands brought immense joy to her life.

A graveside service will be held on August 15, 2025, 1pm at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn's memory to Lifepath Hospice Tampa.
