Carolyn Sands Obituary
Carolyn Sands, age 83, passed away peacefully in Tampa, Florida at the Melech Hospice House, lovingly attended by her sons, Richard and Randall Sands.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Carolyn was the daughter of William Wasyk and Anna Michniewicz Wasyk and the youngest of eight siblings.
Her husband, Richard Sands, was the love of her life. They raised sons, Richard Jr. and Randall, the center of Carolyn's world. A special bond existed with her nieces, Vicki and Debbie, the daughters she never had. Her grandson, Branden Sands brought immense joy to her life.
A graveside service will be held on August 15, 2025, 11am at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn's memory to Lifepath Hospice Tampa.

Oh Richie and Randy, I´m terribly sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I know that heartache all too well.
We always loved having your whole family together with us. I will always hold laughter and good memories in my heart, and I definitely think of you all, often.

My sincere sympathy to Carolyn's sons and family. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church in New Carlisle, before moving to FL. Carolyn was a sweet lady with a big heart, as she cared deeply about all of her friends and family. May she Rest in Peace.
