Susan, I am saddened to learn of your dear Mother's passing. She was my co-worker, partner in crime and best friend! I loved her! We were years different in age, but you'd never have known. Your Mom was a rare gift and was the most humble person I'd ever met. So much laugher, tears and love was shared with her and our other bestie. They both made a HUGE impact on my life and I will forever cherish our time together. She was YOUR biggest fan Susan. I was delighted to learn Carolyn spent time with a grandson! I can see her now. Sending my love, thoughts and heartfelt sympathy. She truly blessed my life!

Carolyn `Nag´ Nagase, I´ve known `Nag´ for over 65 years since Lowell High and the `Corvettes´ Japantown YWCA girls club and Art History class at CCSF. `Nag´ was always competitive and good at what she did. `Nag´ was Pam´s Maid of Honor at our wedding 57 years ago! We just got together in the last couple of years and last saw each other in October. Our condolences to Susan and her grandson and family. RIP´Nag´

"Mama Shain" was a woman beyond her time and broke all the molds and constraints around her. Her love and support for animals and thrifting, connected us forever. She is dearly missed and forever an inspiration to ALL of us, near and far, trying to pave the way for a brighter sun.
