We had such a great time in Colorado with her and Kerry when we had a family gathering there including a visit with Aunt Elizabeth and Aunt Janet. Carol had the gift of exploration and travel and really knew how to enjoy life. I wish I had been able to spend more time with her. Mother and I send you our love during this sad time.

Carol was a childhood friend. Always happy with lots of interesting things to report. We played football in her back yard in Hexam Gardens in Niskayuna, sang together, attended youth group together and were good friends. I'm so glad to read about the rest of her very interesting and "well-lived" life, but very sorry she has passed away at a relatively young age (which is my age as well!)

Oh, I am so sad to see the passing of my oldest friend from Niskayuna -- Carol was my first friend in my new Cornelius Avenue home when my family moved there in 1954. I always appreciated Carol for her warm friendliness whenever we saw each other throughout our lives.
