Funeral for Carrie Davis, 98, of Courtland will be Sat-urday, Feb. 10, 2007, at noon at First Baptist Church in Courtland with the Rev. O.C. Neloms officiating and Jack-son Memory Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Courtland Cemetery.
Ms. Davis, who departed this life on Feb. 5, 2007, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabil-itation for Decatur, was born Aug. 5, 1908, in Hills-boro to the late John and Anna White. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Courtland and re-mained faithful until her death. Her husband, Edward Davis, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, T. Edward Davis and wife, Naomi, of Courtland; three daughters, Imogene Hibbler of Cleve-land, Ohio, Juanita Davis of Courtland and Eloise Schultz and husband, Clar-ence, of Gary, Ind.; five grandchildren, Thomas E. Davis Jr. and wife, Joyce, Pamela Allen, Vanessa Schultz, Clarence Schultz Jr. and Claire Schultz; 12 greatgrandchildren, Cory Davis, Marrieo Davis, Rakesha Da-vis, Sharda Allen, Miles Al-len Davis, Teron Johnson, Jocelyn Johnson, Kyle Wright, Arielle Schultz, Clarence Schultz III, Ter-rance Schultz and Jennayi Schultz; and one sisterin-law, Willie Mae White of Hillsboro.
