My lifeline, My heart, You were an excellent example of a strong black woman. You had a big heart and enjoyed spreading Gods word. Though you may not be here in physical form I feel your embracing presence surrounding myself and your family. You made an impact in so many lives and turned not one person in need down. I will always celebrate your life to the fullest and I appreciate everything you've done. A wise woman with a caring soul aged gracefully with a heart of Gold. I love you grandma. Always and Forever in our hearts...

Missed my Grandma, I had her in my life since I was born; it hard to accept that she moved onto Heaven so soon.

I called her Aunt, although she was my third cousin. She was the epitome of "let your light shine" always showing the love of Christ. It was such a blessing to have Aunt Carrie touch my life in such a special way. Her jovial spirit and room brightening smile will always be etched in memory.

I was deeply saddend when I learned of Aunt Carrie being sick and then to learn that our heavenly Father called her home I itnitially didn't know what to do or how to respond I sat frozen in the airport for a few minutes then called my sister friend Bonita Long, and needless to say we both cried big tears. But there was one thing that we both knew and that was she was with the Lord. I actually met Aunt Carrie many years ago, it was during one of the most hardest times of my life. Aunt Carrie entered my house she spoke and immediately began to speak / minister to me the way a mother would speak to her child. Because you and I know your first ministry is at home, right. So Aunt Carrie talked to me and when she was done I felt much better I knew that I would be okay. So Aunt Carrie I wlll truly miss you and that sound of laughter we would always share. So to the family and friends I know your hearts are heavy but Aunt Carriie is resting in the arms of our Father ... So, I say and she would say ... It is well !!!!!! Job well done my good an faithful servant. I love you all !!!!!
