McDONALD Carrie Lee McDonald entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the age of 68. She was a native of Heidelburg, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA Daughter of the late Floyd McDonald and Evie Lee Seals McDonald. Mother of Lorenzo K. McDonald Sr. (Adrian) and Shandrell McDonald. Sister of Patricia Ducksworth (Odell), Willie Seals (Kathera), Warren and James Seals and the late Annie Ruth Barnett Adams, and Dorothy Jean Fortenberry. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a funeral service at 9:00 Am on Saturday, July 27. 2013 at Rhodes Chapel, 3933 Washington Ave. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. Interment: Shady Grove Cemetery, Heidelberg, MS. Arrangements by Rhodes. Please visit www.rhodesfuneral.com to sign the online guest book.

Mrs Carrie words can not say what I feel right now. I am so sorry I could not be there to see you off home but know you will for ever be in my heart. Where do I begin... Ms. Carrie I still can't believe your gone. There are so many memories that keep playing back n forth in my head of you, the good times and long conversations we held at work and trips to the casino.I'm really lost for words right now.
