DODSON, Carsie H. The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Carsie H. Dodson, age 90, of Lecanto, Florida, will be held 2 pm, Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Carsie was born October 14, 1930 in Monroe, TN, son of William and Lyda (Worley) Dodson. He died September 25, 2021 in Inverness, FL. Carsie proudly served in the United States Navy and worked as an Electronics Troubleshooter for Defense Contractor. Carsie was an animal whisperer, and an environmentalist before it was popular. He thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors. Carsie was preceded in death by father, William Dodson, and mother, Lyda Worley. Survivors include loving wife, Barbara Compton Dodson of Lecanto, FL; son, Jeffrey (Sherry) Dodson, son, Ret. Lieutenant Colonel David (Beverly) Dodson, son, Gregory (Linda) Dodson; daughter, Jennifer (Rob) Ball, daughter, Kimberly (Bryan) Abel, daughter, Michelle (Brian) Dodson; 12 grandchildren, Justin Dodson, Amy Dodson, Megan Dodson, Jaren (Kamalie) Dodson, Trissa (Andrew) Dodson, Halee Dodson, Michael Ganster, Coree Ganster, Katie Abel, Karie Abel, Rhea Camarillo, Corbin Camarillo; and two great-grandchildren, Preston Winfrey and Benson Dodson.
