Uncle Carter was a true American hero, a veteran, a great dad and husband and a teacher who passed his wisdom to all he touched! When he played his harmonica at dad's funeral, he showed a true deep love for all who attended and his special love for his family! There is a large reunion in heaven and one day we will all see him and all the extended family again. Much love to Aunt Francis and family!

The P.W. Ward family wish to extend our deepest condolences to Rhonda, Karen and their families as they walk the path of grief with the loss of Uncle Carter. We remember Uncle Carter as a man of passion for his faith and his family. While we are indeed sadden to hear that he has struck his earthly tent, we rejoice in knowing that he has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to receive his heavenly reward. You ran the good race, Uncle Carter! Well done!

Uncle Carter was a great man. I remember how my Dad would brag about his older brother. I remember the many conversations that Uncle Carter and I had after my Dad passed away. The conversation would always end with "I Love you Alan and Chandra and those babies of yours and I miss my baby brother" and then he would hang up. Growing up I loved hearing the stories of Uncle Carter from my Dad. My Dad truly loved Carter.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
